We prefer you pick up your own race packet, bib number, and timing chip at the Hampton Inn on Friday, April 13th from 3pm to 9pm – 245 London Bridge Road.
However, we do understand that what we prefer and what can actually happen are two different things. If a friend or family member picks up your race packet for you, they will be required to leave their name and contact number in case there are any questions.
A bit different this year…
As repeat participants can attest, we are always listening to feedback and making improvements to our events. This year, we’re making a huge improvement to the packet pickup experience. For one, we’re going to make coupons and advertisements available online for participants to print – this saves money, trees, and landfills from unneeded waste. This area will be available via a link in this section as we approach the race.
Secondly, we’re going to greatly expand the amount of free sample products available to our participants. These products will be available in the packet pickup area for participants to pick up product they want.
So how it’ll work is this: View the coupon/advertisement area to get great discounts and offers from local and national retailers. When you arrive at packet pickup, you’ll recieve your race packet which includes your bib number, disposablle timing chip, and safety pins. You’ll also receive an empty goodie bag which will you’ll use to hold your gender specific technical tee and the free samples you want (leaving behind the product your don’t) – your goodie bag is also your Gear Check bag, so bring it with you race day morning if you’re going to need to use Gear Check.
